The Truth About Some
Golf Schools Browsing the internet we observe approximately 200 golf schools all promising great results. I am not a golfer but have been asked to write this article in order to report truth instead of writing something for personal gain in order for the readers to better understand the golf school market and what some people would do to obtain your business. During my research, I learned that golf is an expensive game and golf schools are expensive. I also learned that the saying, you get what you pay for is true. If you pay $30 an hour for golf instruction it is most probable that you will be learning by a non– PGA member on a rinky dinky golf course and probably a public golf course at that. Learning golf by a true professional is expensive. These golf pros did not go to school and work hard to make $30 here and there. Great golf courses are expensive due to the high cost of maintenance involved with keeping them looking great! Higher end courses are expensive because of their exclusivity as well. We researched 20 of the top golf schools advertised on Google. We were surprised at how many individuals act a travel agencies for golf courses and golf professionals. We also spoke with some golf school owners we learned that golf schools pop up over the internet every winter and most are gone by the following spring. Sleazy Marketing
Techniques That Fool Buyers One golf school holding a first place position over the internet and claiming to be the first amongst the top ten golf schools in America is offering deceptive golf school information and is dominating the internet while tricking it’s students into booking golf lessons with them. Little do these students know that they have just been over priced and are paying so much more than what the golf lesson really costs. This one “ golf school” acts as a travel agency on behalf of the courses. While Taking Advantage of people they Earn up to $300 and $350 dollars per “student” just for making the booking for the course. Take your time and view the false golf school info advertised on these websites that take advantage of it’s students and do not be taken advantage of. There are many schools out there and they are very effective but you should not have to over pay for the instruction a typical golf school at a very nice golf course with high end accommodations can cost up to $3150 for a three day golf school including hotel accommodations. Students should get what they pay for but should not pay hundreds of dollars to someone acting as travel agent. |
